Lottery Scams
Lottery scammers pretend to be either someone you know, or a reputable source such as Facebook or government agency. They lead users to believe that they have won some amount of money or prize and that to receive it you must pay a small fee of some sort...
...they may then ask you to disclose personal information such as phone number, email, physical address or banking details. All of this information can be utilized by scammer, so remember, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is! More scams below...
